| HIGHER EDUCATION CO-ORDINATOR |

| This post is responsible for developing route ways for people from disadvantaged backgrounds to engage with and enter higher education. Once on the course you will continue to offer support to groups of learners while they study modules of degree level courses, and help them to overcome any barriers.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of Higher Education and will understand the barriers that individuals may face when accessing learning at this level.
An understanding of the principles of community development and experience of partnership working is essential, as is an understanding of the widening participation agenda.
Interviews will be held on 26th March 2010.
