What You Can Do Employment Return to Work 4Work The 4 Work scheme is designed to enable people over the age of 18 to progress into employment of eight hours a week or more. Through 4Work, CN4C can offer friendly, informal 1-1 coaching and guidance to tackle the issues that are stopping you from moving forward and help to build your confidence for the return to work at your own pace, from programme sign-up to the workplace. The support we offer starts by providing digital connectivity so you can search online for jobs, and a skills review to identify any additional training that may be required for the type of roles you want to apply for. Your 4Work coach can tell you more about CN4C’s free learning offer and signpost you to the skills training on offer from other organisations too. And because CN4C offers a range of programmes for better lives, we can refer you to our crisis team to address benefits and housing issues and opportunities for social groups to join while you look for a job. You can also access our social prescribing programmes for health and wellbeing through your GP. Our experienced 4Work coach can provide job support tailored to your needs, such as updating your CV - or starting from scratch - and preparing for a job interview. We can provide advice on interview presentation and the type of questions you’ll be asked relevant to the role you have applied for. We can also help fund travel to interviews. CN4C works with local employers large and small to broker job opportunities for people on the 4Work programme: from work placements where you can meet the employer, to the return to work.
