Beningale’s Story

"Over the course of my career, I have gained a lot of experience of informal 'teaching'. I was inspired by the CN4C offer of access to a free online part-time course to gain a qualification to validate my teaching experience to date. As a solo mother in my mid-fifties, living in the Penwith region of Cornwall, during a year when I have struggled to maintain my business and self-employed work as a freelancer, this online course has been a lifeline.

I found the AET Level 3 course to be an easily accessible, inclusive, well-paced, well-delivered course and a really great introduction to teaching adult education and post-16s. The experience and feedback I received has given me the confidence and motivation to apply for a PGCE."
