One year on from the beginning of the pandemic, Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change has provided 7,400 cooked meals to local people facing hardship.

Since March 2020, CN4C staff have been deployed to provide weekly meal deliveries and personal support for isolated and vulnerable members of the community and families in need in Camborne, Pool and Redruth. Today our emergency food service Maga (meaning nourish) regularly delivers to around 70 households a week, providing bags of fresh produce and long-life groceries and chilled pre-cooked meals.

This is an invaluable service for families that have seen big reductions in income during the pandemic.

The government has said free school meals vouchers won’t be offered over Easter, and although some councils are running their own schemes at present Cornwall Council has not indicated it will do so.

Your donation will help us offer support to families facing crisis over the Easter holidays.
