This is a one day activity, we aim to start at 1000 and finish by 1600.
During the course of the day you will:
- Develop an understanding of how historical factors affect the way a community ‘sees itself’.
- Develop an understanding of how claiming control of historical narratives can empower both communities and the individual.
- Gain an insight into the thinking processes involved in Higher Education.

However, the day is not just about what has happened in the past. You will also touch on how sociology, psychology and politics influence our lives today! Here is a talk by somebody who literally tried to recover something that was lost …
