TOAST - Taking Our Achievements and Successes Together

TOAST is run in partnership with V Learning Net and is specially designed to support young people aged 16-18, or 16-24 with Education Health Care Plans to continue in education and gain qualifications.

The study programme includes English, Maths and ICT functional skills qualifications, if the young person doesn't already hold them, as well as employability and life skills qualifications. There is also a work experience element to the course.

Each study programme is individually built around the young person to meet their requirements. There is a high staff ratio, with small class sizes to offer the best support to students.

If a young person has an EHCP, they will need to be referred to the programme though the Cornwall Council SEND team. Otherwise, referrals can be made from social workers, parents, carers, or even the young person themselves.
