Social enterprise is a way of ‘doing business better’ by creating a business idea that earns enough income to cover the costs of running the organisation so surplus cash can be reinvested into doing more projects for social good.

Our three-day course, ‘How to Set-up a social enterprise’ covers the fundamentals of running a successful social enterprise from identifying who will buy your products and services, to defining how your activities will benefit others.

By the end of this course you should be able to... develop your idea for a social enterprise into actions and register as a CIC.
What can I study next? Any social enterprise registered in the past three years is eligible for a further twelve hours of support. Please contact Neil Colquhoun, Start-up and Social Enterprise Manager for details.
