Our buildings are closed at the moment, because of social distancing, so we are in the process of moving as many activities as we can online. Creative Writing 10am to 12pm 

Join us on this Community Learning course and give yourself space to write about what matters to you. Running for six weeks from 17th August 2020. There is no qualification for completing this course, it's an opportunity to learn some new skills and spend time with others who are interested too.

Would you like to improve your IT skills but struggle in a group lesson? Book a remote one to one session with our tutor Lee to improve your skills.

Level 2 Award in Creative Writing 2pm to 4pm

Join us on this accredited  course and learn to improve your writing skills using literary techniques, grammar and punctuation. We will be using Nature as inspiration for creative writing with a combination of online tutor lead sessions and self directed learning. This is a ten week course, with sessions on Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings starting on Monday 12th October 2020.

The Film Foyer - The first Monday of every month 7pm to 8.15pm

Come to the Film Foyer on Zoom and discuss the selected film with other people. The film will be announced two weeks before the Film Foyer chat, so you will have a chance to watch it. Then come along and share your views, and help pick the next film.

Tuesday

Tool Shed Talks 11.30am 

As we are unable to hold community sessions at our allotments in Camborne and St Austell, we have an online activity, where you can join an informal discussion and chat group, with others who are interested in growing food and wants to meet other growers, or if you are interested in joining our allotment.

Get Connected IT Course 1pm to 4pm

Join us for this Community Learning course to learn the best way to use technology to keep in touch with people. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those with a little knowledge of how to use a tablet or computer.

The Leisure Lounge 3pm to 4.15pm 

Join Dee, Sacha and Edward in the 'Leisure Lounge' on Zoom every Tuesday afternoon. The Leisure Lounge is an opportunity for a chat with new people, with  the option of joining in an activity if you would like to do so. You can also share your activity or hobby with everyone else in the lounge, and help people learn crafts with household items, a new language or some cookery tips - whatever matters to you.

Community Artists 10am to 1pm

Join us on this Community Learning course to develop your well being through art. Learn basic meditation and relaxation techniques and develop your creativity. If you aren't free on Wednesday, join us on Thursday to express your creativity.

Our Functional Skills course gives you a chance to learn a skill base including communication, team working, presentation and problem solving skills. This skill base can help make sense of daily life, from getting the best deal in shops to applying for a job or using a computer. If you would like to improve your Maths skills in a relaxed manor, from the comfort of your own home, this is the course for you.

From Wednesday 23rd September our online course will run and give you an opportunity to work at your level, to gain a qualification in Maths. To gain the qualification you will need to sit an exam, in Entry Level, Level 1 or Level 2 Maths, depending on your current ability.

Learn new cooking skills, explore food choices and improve your confidence and well being in this free 10 week course.

Quiz Night 7pm

Join us each week at 7pm for a fun and friendly online quiz. The quiz is hosted on Zoom. You won't need an account to play, but you will need to download the app. Play on your own, or get the people you live with to form a team. Will you win the virtual gold cup?
